Millwork Fabrication Process
Panel Processing
- CNC Machining Center: CAM has implemented the latest in CAD software and CNC technology, cutting lead times and costs to our valued customers. After development of your cabinet or millwork specifications, the files are sent to our Thermwood CNC machining center, where each part is milled to the highest tolerances.
- Edge Bander: Capable of solid wood and PVC edging up to 8mm, our automated Fravol S4 edge bander will apply the tape that meets your specifications.
- Laminating and Veneering: Can't find the veneer or laminate you need in panel form? No problem! We can lay up custom panels with virtually any substrate you require - specialty veneers, melamine, HPL, and more. All lay-ups are done on our Joos Hot Press. We use ecologically friendly PVA glue and Formaldehyde Free substrates, a process that meets Greenguard Standards. With a 4' X 8'capacity, and with our attention to detail, you are guaranteed a quality panel.
Assembly
If you require assembly by Creative Architectural Millwork, our case clamps will ensure that your cabinets will be flush, providing you a quality finished product.
Solid Surface Fabrication
Our solid surface fabricators are DuPont certified in Corian, a thermoformable material that has endless shape and design options, and Zodiaq, and advanced composite material made of 93% quartz.
Design
Creative Architectural Millwork can assist in the development and creation of computer designs, or we can accept your design files via e-mail in most CAD formats, as well as eCabinet files.
Finishing
Creative Architectural Millwork offers a wide selection of top of the line stained finishes, painted finishes, and pigmented lacquer finishes. We use only environmentally friendly water-based stain, paint, pigmented lacquer, glaze, and topcoats with very low VOC content.
